1. Who processes your data

The data controller is ASWELL Conseil, Rue de Cornavin 11, 1201 Geneva, Switzerland. For any question about your data, write to info@aswell.ch or call +41 22 344 75 49.

2. What we collect

We only collect what you give us yourself:
• your contact details (first name, surname, email address, phone number);
• what you enter in the simulator (year of birth, sex, canton, employment status, chosen deductible);
• the message or notes you add to a request.

The simulator’s answers stay in your browser until you ask to be contacted. No premium calculation reaches us before you send it.

3. What they are used for

Your data is used to answer your request, prepare a comparison or an offer, arrange a meeting and follow up your file. It is used for nothing else. We carry out no advertising profiling and no automated decision-making.

4. Legal basis

Processing rests on your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, and on carrying out the pre-contractual steps you ask for. You may withdraw that consent at any time, without calling into question what was done beforehand.

5. Who it is passed to

Your data is never sold or rented. It is passed to an insurance company only when you ask us for an offer or for a policy to be taken out, and only to that extent. Our technical providers access it solely to host the site and use it for no other purpose. If you accept measurement cookies (section 8), Google receives information about how you browse the site, never the content of your forms.

6. Where it is kept, and for how long

The data is hosted on servers located in Europe. A request with no follow-up is deleted after twelve months. Data tied to a policy is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship, then for the retention period Swiss law requires.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to have it handed over or transferred. To exercise them, write to info@aswell.ch. We answer within thirty days. You may also refer the matter to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

8. Cookies

The site sets the cookies it needs to work: they remember your language and secure the sending of forms. Only with your agreement, given or refused in the banner shown on your first visit, it also uses Google Tag Manager to measure the site’s audience and how well our advertising campaigns perform (Google Analytics, Google Ads). These tools then set measurement and advertising cookies and send Google information about your browsing, which may be processed outside Switzerland, in particular in the United States. Without your agreement, no such cookie is set. You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookies” link at the bottom of every page.

9. Updates

This policy may be adapted to follow changes to the site or to the regulations. The version online is always the one that applies.
